How much does a tour cost?
Our basic real estate tour package, which includes all the custom window features as described on our Media Page is available with just one phone call. For detailed information on what services this covers, please visit our Pricing Page.
How long does it take for a tour to go online?
From the time we finish photographing the home, we will have your new home tour up within 24 hours and will provide you with a link in order to access it.
What are my responsibilities as a listing agent?
We simply require you to schedule an appointment with us to come in and shoot the house. The house should look as presentable as it would if you were showing it to a potential buyer. The cleaner and brighter, the better. We will have two simple forms for you to fill out: a very basic contract that describes what you're getting from us, and a description form for how you want each room labeled (master bedroom, great room, kitchen ,etc.) . Payment for each tour is due upon our arrival to the home being photographed (or upon appointment if the non-photography package is selected). After that, just email us the pertinent information on the house, your contact info and/or website urls and a photo of yourself if you have one.
I don't see 360º shots. Can you do those?
We have found that most home shoppers are equally (if not more) satisfied in seeing a collection of well photographed stills, presented in a pleasing fashion. Keep in mind, a potential homeowner wants to be impressed by the home, not the technology showing it off. An Inspectour tour presents a home without being overly flashy or calling attention to itself. However, if a 360º tour is still what you're looking for, give us a call and we can talk about how to make this possible. Be aware that the cost of making a 360º panoramic tour will be higher since it involves complex photo stitching.
Are the tours kept on my site?
No, that's the beauty of Inspectour.com. All you manage is where to place the hyperlink on your webpage. All of the actual tours are kept on our servers, for access whenever the home shopper needs it. You never have to worry about managing the tours on your site or how much space they're taking up. What's more, this is completely transparent to the person viewing the tour. It will appear as if all the content is coming directly from your site.

What if I don't have a website?
You need one! If you're only listing properties in the newspaper or with a "for sale" sign, you need to have a web presence now. Obviously we can provide tour links to place on your broker's site, but if you're looking for your own individual website on which to collect and organize your listings and virtual tours, give us a call. In addition to providing virtual tours, we also develop and design for the web. A classy looking, customized agent site is only a phone call away.
Can these tours be included in MLS listings?
Absolutely. Just provide the link information with the rest of your data. Most MLS services provide space for additional or external links. And with the content loading transparently from Inspectour's site, it's hand-free maintenance.
Do you need special software to view Inspectour tours?
No. While a Flash player is required to view our tours, this browser plug-in is hardly considered unusual. According to Macromedia, the company who manufactures Flash, their player is installed on 98% of Internet-enabled desktops worldwide and on a wide range of popular devices. That makes it even more ubiquitous than Quicktime or other media enabling software. Better yet, when an Inspectour user clicks on a tour but doesn't have Flash installed, they will be guided to download a free copy directly from Macromedia.

What areas are covered by Inspectour?
Currently we cover a roughly 20 mile radius from the center of downtown Dayton, OH (e.g. Troy to Springboro, Eaton to Xenia). All homes listed within this area fall under the standard fee for a virtual tour. As Inspectour expands, we will start including more outer-lying regions into our radius of coverage. Until then, homes outside of the area will incur an additional charge of .40¢ per mile of travel, as well as a $10.00 service charge. Click here to see our current coverage map.
Can you make a tour out of the photos I already have?
We highly encourage you to take advantage of the difference professional photography can make to the image of your home(s). As part of the standard fee, you can receive up to two photographs per room and up to four photographs of the exterior. If you still prefer to use your own photographs, the charge is less per tour. However, we do require the images meet certain standards of quality (resolution, exposure, square composition, etc.) Our intent is to create a virtual tour that compliments your listing and inspires a viewer to schedule a visit. Poorly taken photographs do you and your potential buyers a disservice.

How long does a tour stay listed with Inspectour?
From the the time the tour goes live, all Inspectour tours will stay listed for 6 months or until the home sells. If after 6 months the house has not sold and you wish to relist the property, we charge a $20.00 relisting fee for an additional six months. Every six months this process repeats until the home sells or you choose to discontinue the tour.
What if I need to update my tour info?
During the initial 6-month hosting period you are allowed two data changes (house information, listing price, etc.) to the tour. Additional changes will be charged at $10.00 each. For successive 3-month hosting periods you are allowed one data change to the tour. Additional changes will be charged at $10.00 each. Typos or other such errata are not included in this and will be fixed free of charge if they are the result of a mistake on our part.
